Irwin S. Korngut, MD, attended Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC, and received his medical degree in 1976. Furthermore, he conducted his internship and residency in internal medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas (1977-1979). In addition, Dr. Korngut received board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He remains in good standing with the Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society and is an Associate of the American College of Physicians. In addition to his medical degree, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology acquired at Dartmouth College (1972). He has received several honors and awards, including inclusion into America’s Top Doctors by the Consumers’ Research Council of America, being listed among the Best Doctors in America® (2013-2014), and as well as among the Marquis Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare.
